A Patient Space for Financial Clarity
Pra Kasem was founded with one guiding belief: that financial knowledge, delivered with care and without pressure, helps people make better decisions about their lives.
Back to HomeBuilt Around the People Who Often Get Left Behind
Pra Kasem was established in Udon Thani by a small group of educators and financial practitioners who noticed something uncomfortable: most financial education services were aimed squarely at younger audiences — those early in their careers, accumulating wealth rapidly. Adults in their 40s, 50s, and beyond were frequently overlooked, despite facing some of the most consequential financial decisions of their lives.
The name Pra Kasem draws on the Thai concept of a trusted guide — one who walks alongside rather than leading from ahead. That spirit shapes everything we do: sessions are unhurried, materials are plain-language, and the focus is always on understanding rather than product sales.
We are based in Udon Thani and serve participants across the northeastern region. Our programs span financial health assessments, precious metal savings education, and comprehensive retirement readiness evaluations — each one built to respect the experience and intelligence that adults in this life stage already bring to the room.
Our Mission
To offer adults 40 and over a reliable, respectful space to examine their finances — using structured programs that build understanding without pressure or complexity.
Our Values
Patience, honesty, and practicality guide every program we design. We believe that clear information — presented calmly and without agenda — is the most useful thing we can offer.
Our Approach
Small group sizes, plain language, and a pace set by participants — not a syllabus. Every program adapts to what the people in the room actually need.
Our Team
A small, experienced group with backgrounds in financial practice, adult education, and community outreach.
Chanya Krisanaphan
Program Director
With over eighteen years in personal finance education and a background in adult learning design, Chanya leads program development and ensures every offering reflects the needs of participants.
Arthit Boonmak
Senior Financial Educator
Arthit brings twelve years of experience in Thai financial markets and savings products. He leads the Precious Metal Savings and Retirement Assessment programs, with a particular focus on practical clarity.
Siriphon Lertwilai
Client Relations & Support
Siriphon coordinates participant intake, scheduling, and follow-up. She is often the first point of contact and works to ensure every enquiry is met with care, patience, and clear information.
Standards and Practices
A set of consistent principles guides every program we run — from how we handle participant information to how we structure each session.
Confidentiality
All personal and financial information shared in sessions is held in strict confidence and never disclosed to third parties.
Adult Learning Principles
Programs are structured around how adults learn — building on existing knowledge, allowing time to process, and connecting new ideas to real situations.
Independent Guidance
We do not sell financial products or receive referral fees. Our role is educational — to help participants understand their options, not to direct them toward any particular product.
Small Group Format
Sessions accommodate no more than six participants, allowing each person enough time and space to ask questions and think through what they are hearing.
Plain Language Materials
All written resources avoid unnecessary jargon. Where technical terms are used, they are clearly explained in plain Thai and English.
Regularly Updated Content
Program materials are reviewed and updated at least twice per year to reflect current Thai financial products, regulations, and market conditions.
Financial Education That Respects Where You Are in Life
The financial landscape facing adults in Thailand aged 40 and over carries a particular weight. Questions about savings adequacy, healthcare costs in later years, and how to manage assets like gold and property are not abstract — they are immediate and personal. Pra Kasem works within that reality, providing structured education that meets each participant where they are, rather than assuming a clean financial slate.
Our location in Udon Thani places us in the heart of northeastern Thailand — a region where community trust, straightforward communication, and respect for experience matter. We extend those values into every program we run, treating financial literacy not as a commodity to be sold but as a quiet, worthwhile skill to be developed over time.
Come and See If We Are a Good Fit
An initial conversation costs nothing. If our programs seem relevant to your situation, we can walk through what a session looks like and answer any questions you have.
